What if a celestial body like Jupiter, the biggest planet in our solar system, was as close to the Earth as our moon? Would it fill the night sky? Illustrator and author Ron Miller[www.black-cat-studios.com] sought to answer the question using the reference photograph above.

It�s important to note that this is strictly a visual exercise. If a planet like Jupiter were actually as close to Earth as the Moon, its immense gravitation would wreak havoc on our planet. So for the gallery below, please temporarily suspend your disbelief and just imagine how amazing it would be to see a planet like Saturn in such incredible detail.

Fountain Sprays Water Look Like a Boat

Can imagine this is fountain sprays water to look like a boat, At first, the image above looks like a boat, one that is caught in a soaking surge of water, but it is in fact a cleverly designed fountain sprinkling water out of its man-made pores. Located at Playa de la Malvarrosa in Valencia, Spain and known simply as Water Boat Fountain (or Fuente del Barco de Agua in Spanish) by visitors and locals alike, the sculptural fountain creates the illusion of both the hull and the sail of a boat with liquid jets. One is left baffled by its simple design mimicking the appearance of a sailboat with nothing more than a few rods spraying fine streams of water.

A variety of similar designs of the structure are said to be situated around the world, including one in Portugal and one in Israel, though this one in Spain appears to gain the most attention from foreign visitors. Vieux Port Pavilion by Foster + Partners

Foster + Partner�s re-imagining of the World Heritage-listed harbour at Marseilles, France has been officially unveiled. Opened by the President of Marseille Provence M�tropole, Eug�ne Caselli, and the Mayor of Marseille, Jean-Claude Gaudin on 2 March, the new Vieux Port events pavilion has been built to celebrate the French city�s year as the European Capital of Culture.

Constructed using highly reflective stainless steel and supported by slim pillars, the new events pavilion is a simple canopy which measures 46m by 22m, and is completely open on all sides. The polished, mirrored surface of the pavilion reflects the views of the historic port and has been designed to taper towards the edges in order to reduce the structure�s visual impact.

Lord Foster said of the design: �I know the harbour at Marseille well and it is a truly grand space. This project is a great opportunity to enhance it using very simple means, to improve it with a large pavilion for events, for markets, for special occasions. Our approach has been to work with the climate, to create shade, but at the same time to respect the space of the harbour - just making it better.�

As part of the scheme, the boat houses and technical installations located alongside the quays have been relocated to new platforms and clubhouses over the water. Another feature of the project has been the enlargement of the pedestrian area around the harbour and the removal of kerbs and level changes, which the designers say will reduce the traffic over the coming years and provide 'a safe, pedestrianised environment that extends to the water�s edge'.

Spencer de Grey, Head of Design at Foster + Partners, added: �Our aim has been to make the Vieux Port accessible to all - the project is an invitation to the people of Marseille to enjoy and use this grand space for events, markets and celebrations once again. The new pavilion is quite literally a reflection of its surroundings - its lightweight steel structure is a minimal intervention and appears as a simple silver line on the horizon, but it brings a new focus, provides basic shelter and creates a venue for performances during this very important year for the city.� 04 more images after the break...

Return of a Legend Titanic 2

Everyone is calling it the "return of a legend." Last year, Australian billionaire Clive Palmer revealed plans for Titanic II, a modern-day functioning replica of the original luxury liner. According to the design plan, "While every bit as luxurious as her namesake, Titanic II will have every modern amenity along with 21st century technology and the latest navigation and safety systems." Passengers can purchase tickets and experience a journey across the ocean in a real life flash to the past, including class divisions and even costumes from the time period.

Just like the original, the accommodations are designed to match the finest restaurants and hotels on land. The plush furniture, carved oak designs, wrought iron and glass dome, and grand central staircase will mimic the grandeur of the original ship, and Palmer says, "This magnificent vessel is to be constructed in memory of the heroic people who served on the ship, the passengers who sadly shared their fate, and all those that survived the tragedy."

The vessel will take its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York in 2016 and something important to note, the new design will be extremely prepared for any emergency, equipped with 18 modern lifeboats that can hold beyond the ship�s capacity of 2,435 passengers and 900 crew. 14 more images after the break...

More recently, we have given you some ideas for creative gifts for March 8 , but today we want to find out where the tradition of celebrating Women's Day.

March 8, 1857 workers of shoe and garment factories organized a demonstration in New York. The title of this demonstration was to "march of empty pots." Women's demands were: the introduction of 10 hour day, instead of 16 hours, acceptable working conditions and salary equal muzhchskoy. The same day the women's unions began to appear, and for the first time women were given the right to vote.

Mummified Remains of 2000 Year Old Egyptian Cat

The Mystery of a mummified Egyptian cat left languishing in a Roseland attic has been partly solved.

Robert Gray, from Portscatho, inherited the remarkable object from his father, renowned Egyptologist Peter Gray, who died in 1984. Mr Gray never knew what the arcane package might contain, as many mummified cats were sold by disreputable traders in the ancient world with nothing but rags inside. The Wall of �I Love You�s in Paris

The �I love you� wall stands at the center of the Abbesses garden at Montmartre, Paris, and covers a surface area of 40 square meters with a total of 612 tiles of enameled lava. The phrase �I love you� is written more than a thousand times in over 300 different languages.

The wall was created by two artists - Frederic Baron and Claire Kito - as a rendezvous location for lovers and a lasting monument to eternal adoration. The phrases were collected by Frederic Baron in notebooks by knocking on the doors of embassies and asking their neighbors until he had collected more than 300 languages all expressing the powerful sentiment of love. Frederic Baron then asked Claire Kito, an artist who practices oriental calligraphy, to assemble the script.

Approaching Valentine's day in a totally original fashion, Australian artist team Chris Mundy and Greg Lockhart has created a line of greeting cards that ultimately prove to be a bit confusing�perhaps even disturbing�in the overall expressions of love. The stalker-esque messages include things like "I love you so much I've got a picture of your face on the inside of my undies." Now this could be a funny message if it's just for fun, but it could also be a bit alarming if it proved to actually be true. Poor Client Comments Turned Into Posters

Frustrated by stupid client criticism, Irish graphic designers Mark Shanley and Paddy Treacy decided to turn their �favorite worst feedback� into posters. The guys worked together on so-called �Sharp Suits� series with a team of other ad creatives, designers, animators, directors, illustrators and more, who must�ve all appreciated a chance to let out some of their exasperation in a creative way.

The series was exhibited at The Little Green Caf�, Bar and Gallery in November, giving a chance to purchase an A3 poster of your choice. The guys, however, received so many orders during a 5 day exhibition, that they�ve already stopped accepting them. Robot Restaurant in Harbin � China

They�re probably going to render us extinct one day, so we might as well enjoy their servitude, while it lasts. A unique restaurant, in Harbin, China�s Heilongjiang Province, has 18 different robots doing all kinds of jobs, from ushering in guests to waiting tables and cooking various dishes. All the robots were designed and created by the Harbin Haohai Robot Company. Chief Engineer Liu Hasheng, they invested around 5 million yuan ($790,000) in the restaurant, with each robot costing 200,000 to 300,000 yuan ($31,500 � $47,000). With an average cost per dinner of between $6 and $10, they won�t be recovering their investment anytime soon, but it is great advertisement for what the robot company can create. [Photo/Agencies]

Siberian Doctors Use Sticks to Literally Beat Drug Addiction

There�s a new way to beat your addiction, but it hurts, a lot. Psychologists at a Siberian drug clinic are using corporal punishment to help drug, alcohol and even $ex addicts get their lives back. The bizarre treatment involves lashing patients� buttocks with sticks and canes.

�We cane the patients on the buttocks with a clear and definite medical purpose � it is not some warped sado-masochistic activity,� Professor Marina Chukhrova told The Siberian Times. Apparently, there are some sound scientific principles behind these beatings. Chukhrova and fellow practitioner Dr German Pilipenko claim addicts suffer from a lack of endorphins, known as the �happiness hormones�, and the excruciating pain stimulates their brains to release endorphins into the body, making them feel better about themselves without having to use any other stimulants. �The caning counteracts a lack of enthusiasm for life which is often behind addictions, suicidal tendencies and psychosomatic disorders,� Pilipenko says. Coffee from an elephant's gut fills a $50 cup

GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Thailand (AP) � In the lush hills of northern Thailand, a herd of 20 elephants is excreting some of the world's most expensive coffee.

Trumpeted as earthy in flavor and smooth on the palate, the exotic new brew is made from beans eaten by Thai elephants and plucked a day later from their dung. A gut reaction inside the elephant creates what its founder calls the coffee's unique taste. Stomach turning or oddly alluring, this is not just one of the world's most unusual specialty coffees. At $1,100 per kilogram ($500 per pound), it's also among the world's priciest. For now, only the wealthy or well-traveled have access to the cuppa, which is called Black Ivory Coffee.
